# Orma > Orma is a private family location sharing app for iPhone, made by VivTech Solutions. It shares live location with a private circle (family, partners, people caring for a parent) and nobody else: locations, places, alerts, photos and names are end-to-end encrypted on the phone, so Orma's servers store only ciphertext. Coming soon to the App Store. Key facts: - iPhone only for now. Not yet on the App Store; pricing hasn't been announced. - Features: live location sharing (until turned off or for a set time), 30-day location history, arrival and departure alerts for saved places, an SOS button, daily check-ins, low-battery and phone-went-quiet alerts, Lock Screen / Dynamic Island / CarPlay status. - SOS alerts the user's circle with their location. It does not contact emergency services; users should also turn on iPhone's Emergency SOS. - Privacy: end-to-end encrypted with a per-circle key passed only phone to phone (invite links carry it in the URL fragment; new phones are approved by comparing codes). The server can see account email, circle membership, device IDs and push tokens, timestamps and IP addresses in short-lived logs. No ads, no data selling, no analytics in the app. - Contact: support@ormacircle.com ## Main pages - [Home](https://ormacircle.com/): what Orma is, how the encryption works, features and FAQ - [Privacy Policy](https://ormacircle.com/privacy): what the server can and can't see, retention, rights - [Support](https://ormacircle.com/support): how to use Orma, troubleshooting - [Contact](https://ormacircle.com/contact) ## Guides - [Moving your Orma circles to a new iPhone](https://ormacircle.com/guides/move-orma-to-new-iphone): Sign in on your new iPhone, compare the codes on both phones, and approve.
